About the survey
The survey consists of questions to determine the following:
- Social media platforms BL fans prefer using
- General demographic related information such as age, gender, and location
- Preferences in regard to the BL content itself
- Spending habits
- What BL fans like most about the medium
The intention of the survey is to glean a better general understanding of the BL genre and what the fans want, with a slight emphasis on games. Additionally, through the questions we asked, we also hope to understand more about the people who like BL media. There’s a lot of preconceived notions about BL fans and we hope to figure out what’s closer to the truth.
We will be publishing the results to the public. Additionally, we’ll also be releasing our analysis of the data. Hopefully, this will help fellow creators of BL media know their audience better.
Currently, there isn’t a lot of research on the subject. While there are plenty of BL fans out there, there aren’t a lot of surveys and analysis done. We hope to remedy that with this survey! Please help us out by letting us know more about what you like to see.
