Happy September, everyone! August saw a lot of work being done across multiple projects like I talked about in our last devlog, but today we’re looking at Crimson Waves on the Emerald Sea: Amaranthine Moon specifically.
August was the end of our successful Kickstarter. With the turbulence of shipping things right now, as I’m located in the US, we’re holding off on sending out backer surveys to finalize backer info (and shipping costs) for now. We’re aiming to release the game in December, so hopefully by the end of October we’ll be able to finalize the backer details. Almost all of our rewards, aside from ones like the physical game copies, have already been produced and I have them on hand (such as the keychains, acrylics standees, etc.).
Aside from the Kickstarter, there was some great progress on the game itself too! Our character artist Dule finished another ending CG~ Here’s a small preview of it.

Speaking of a certain love interest, I was able to finish the first past for scripting Day 4 of the game.

Day 4 shows Lucie meet Rowan at his home to continue their business talks—but will their heart-to-heart lead to a deeper appreciation for each other as business partners or something more? That’s up for you to decide~
September will be a busy month for me IRL and with prior engagements (I’m running another Steam festival!) but I’ll begin scripting Day 5 this month. Day 5 is a massive day for Lucie, given that there’s a lot of paths she can go down and outcomes for it. It’s not the end of the script, but rather the rising tension. The script is past 100k words already with Rowan & Elm’s endings being wrapped up right now.
Have a great rest of your month, see you soon!
